First Annual Marijuana/Cannabis Industry Expo Helps People Enter and Succeed in Burgeoning Industry
International Cannabis Association to Host “Green to Green” Event June 22-23, 2014 in Las Vegas, NV

Las Vegas, NV – The International Cannabis Association (ICA) is announcing its first ever “Green to Green” networking event and educational conference with an ad on the front page of today’s USA Today Money section. The ICA believes that the best way to legitimize the industry is by expanding it. The ICA uses top industry veterans to teach people how to start or support a marijuana/cannabis business.

The “Green to Green, Making Money in the Marijuana/Cannabis Industry” event will take place June 22-23, 2014 in Las Vegas, NV at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The two-day event will include educational seminars with cannabis industry experts, an exhibition hall filled with the latest products and services, and several networking opportunities.

The cannabis (marijuana) industry is among the fastest growing businesses in America, with states across the country considering similar legislation as in Colorado and Washington that would allow the legalization of marijuana for adult use. The ICA estimates the legal market for marijuana sales will exceed $2.5 billion in 2014. Colorado recently made news by announcing the state made more than $2 million in taxes on sales of recreational cannabis in January.

The ICA conference focuses on giving people interested in starting, supporting, or expanding in the marijuana industry the tools and information they need to succeed. Presentations explaining the different business models, legal implications, marketing, obtaining permits, and practical tips are all designed to help attendees succeed in the cannabis business.

“The marijuana business is the next big American industry, and there’s never been a better time to take advantage of the many opportunities available,” said Dan Humiston, founding member of the ICA. “The ‘Green to Green’ expo will knock down the barriers by demystifying the legalities and regulations surrounding the industry and put attendees on the track towards prosperity.”
